As an individual catalogue solution, ICS-Planet is a variable organisation tool for product catalogues, pipe classes, standards and the associated documentation. ICS-Planet uses XML for data processing throughout, allowing data and information exchange independent of media. Using a system of construction manuals, all components are displayed as variants and logically linked with data and documents, so that they can be called up at any time during the planning process.

This opens up completely new perspectives for the user, as he now has a central tool that supplies him with all components in accordance with the pipe classes and standards specified in the project. Each standard and guideline can be linked via a flexible xml technology with a checklist that can be used in the system. Commercial and technical data, specifications and documents, such as tender texts and approvals, are logically linked to the individual components and are available at all times to all technical and commercial processes in the project environment. Product catalogues have a 3D representation in addition to the technical specifications and instructions.
