DMS Export Extension

DMS Export Extension

Message from: March 2021

The existing quick selection for exporting files from DMS has been extended by a function with which additional documents can be transferred beyond the revision.

These additional documents can be, for example, PDF original, redlining (RL), comment (CM) and testate (T). This additional functionality appears in a dialogue that can also be used for transmittal creation, i.e. both input and return transmittal. The transfer of the additional documents can also be made to an existing Transmittal or to a new ToDo to be created.

Meldung vom: October 2019

In addition to the bidirectional standard interface between PLM and Excel, the data exchange was extended by a separate PLM plug-in for Excel.

This plugin supports the user in creating Excel templates, which are later filled with information from the PLM database.
Via a separate tab in the Excel plugin, a structure tree with the usable variables from the areas Office, DMS and CEM can be called up and the provided variables inserted into the Excel sheet.
Then the template is imported into PLM, called up and the inserted variables are filled with data from the current project.

In addition to the plugin for integrating data from PLM into Excel templates, the data exchange has been extended by another PLM plugin with the same functionality for Word.

This plugin supports the user in the creation of Word templates, which will later be filled with information from the PLM database.

Via a separate tab in the Word plugin, a structure tree with the usable variables from the areas Office, DMS and CEM can be called up and the provided variables inserted into the Word page.
Then the template is imported into PLM, called up and the inserted variables are filled with data from the current project.
